I completed my qualifications as an accredited Therapeutic Coach in 2025. I am a registered member of the IICT, the International Institute for Complementary Therapies.
What is Therapeutic Coaching
Therapeutic Coaching (TC) sits between reflective self-inquiry and practical change. We look at what is happening in your inner world, how old patterns may have protected you, and what new choices become possible when you feel more resourced.
It is a whole-person approach that pays attention to the relationship between mind, emotion, body, behaviour, and imagination and how they shape our beliefs, identity and purpose. In practice, this means we may explore what you think, what you feel, what your body is communicating, what your nervous system is protecting, and what part of you is longing for something different.
For neurodivergent people, this work can be especially powerful. With a deep grounding in understanding how you and your nervous-system relate and uniquely shape your experiences, we avoid pathologising or pressuring anyone to become more “normal”. The aim is not to make you less autistic, less ADHD, less AuDHD, less PDA, or less yourself. The aim is to help you understand your experience more clearly and support change that feels possible, kind and true to you.
What can I bring to a session?
- Overwhelm, shutdown, stress or burnout
- Masking, people-pleasing or feeling disconnected from yourself
- Late-identified autism, ADHD, AuDHD or PDA experiences
- Demand avoidance, autonomy needs and sensitivity to pressure
- Confidence, self-esteem, shame or self-doubt
- Creative blocks, purpose, expression and identity
- Life transitions, lifestyle changes and decision-making
- Fear, phobias or protective patterns that feel limiting
- Building practices, boundaries and rhythms that support your life
What can I expect?
Sessions are conversational, curious and collaborative. I will work with you to recognise the potential for change and empowerment that already exists inside you. We may map what is happening, slow down to notice what your body is communicating, explore the reasons a pattern may have developed, and strengthen the resources that can support you in moving toward your desired change.
My approach is consent-based and autonomy-respecting. If something feels too much, too fast, too pressured or simply not right, we can pause, adjust and work differently. Your pace matters.
Scope of practice
Therapeutic Coaching is not therapy, diagnosis, crisis support or medical care. I do not diagnose or provide clinical mental health treatment. If you need therapy, crisis support or medical care, I encourage you to seek a suitably qualified professional. Coaching can sit alongside other supports where appropriate.
